In the fourth minute of the game, Pipers earned the goal from Navneet’s strike. She takes advantage of a loose pass from her side and takes the ball to the other side with pace by beating two defenders, and goes on to successfully hit the goal.

In response, JSW Soorma were dominant in their attacks and put pressure on the Pipers’ defense structure. But SG Pipers did their best to close down the space and defended strategically in the first quarter.

Soorma got their first penalty corner in the second quarter, but that could not result in any advantage for the team. Pressured to add a goal on the scoreboard, Soorma were adequately chased by the Pipers, who were looking to add another goal. Soorma got another penalty corner but failed to execute it, and Pipers remained in the lead by 1-0.

Entering the third quarter, Soorma looked adamant to make the score equal through aggressive attacks. Pipers, on the other hand, remained in composure and maintained their lead after a failed attempt from Soorma in their third penalty corner.

Meanwhile, the final quarter gave both teams equal opportunity. Pipers gained back-to-back penalty corners and were close to adding their second from Navneet, who got denied by Soorma’s goalkeeper Savita. Soorma got their fourth penalty corner but were later denied by the opponent.
