In the 2026 WPL points table, RCB Women take the top spot with 10 points in six matches played. The team is the first one to qualify for the playoffs. Behind them are DC with six points, while GG takes No. 3 also with six points. The bottom two teams in the table are defending champions MI and UP Warriorz, taking fourth and fifth place, respectively with four points each.

Both DC and GG are in for a fight with both teams, just two wins away from earning their qualification in the playoffs. DC have to get the wins over GG and UP Warriorz in the upcoming scheduled matches, while GG has to defeat DC and MI in order to secure their place in the playoffs.

In case DC and GG lose both of their matches, they will be alive in contention through their net run rates that will be only valid if both MI and UP Warriorz lose either one of their upcoming scheduled matches.

Meanwhile, the case for MI and UP Warriorz is quite opposite. For MI Women, the contention remains only if DC wins both their matches, or else the result will depend on the run rate. They have two remaining matches in the league one against RCB and the other against GG.

On the other hand, UP Warriorz have their chance on GG Women, who need to win both their matches to get them the chance in the playoffs. If not the case, then the result will depend on their net run rate, which is currently at -0.769. The UP Warriorz have their upcoming matches scheduled against RCB and DC.

In case both teams lose their upcoming matches, they will be knocked out of the playoffs and no longer in contention in the tournament.
