India A Women delivered a composed all-round performance to defeat Bangladesh A Women by 46 runs in the final of the ACC Women’s Asia Cup Rising Stars 2026, lifting the trophy in style.

Batting first in the summit clash, India A Women posted a competitive total of 134/7, before their bowlers put on a disciplined display to bowl Bangladesh A out well short of the target. India A endured a shaky start after being put in to bat. Opener Nandini Kashyap fell early for 8, while Vrinda Dinesh contributed 19. The middle order struggled to gain momentum, with Anushka Sharma scoring 8 and Minnu Mani dismissed for a duck.
With wickets falling at regular intervals, the responsibility fell on Tejal Hasabnis, who played a calm and mature innings under pressure. Tejal remained unbeaten on 51*, anchoring the innings and ensuring India A crossed the 130-run mark. She found valuable support from skipper Radha Yadav, who chipped in with a crucial 36. The pair stitched together a 69-run partnership, rescuing India A from a precarious position and giving their bowlers something to defend.
For Bangladesh A, captain Fahima Khatun led from the front with the ball, claiming an impressive 4-wicket haul. Fatema Jahan Sonia and Farjana Easmin picked up a wicket each to restrict India A to 134/7.
Chasing 135 in a high-pressure final, Bangladesh A never truly found their footing. Early wickets put them on the back foot, with Ishma Tanjim departing for 3. Shamima Sultana top-scored with 20, while Sarmin Sultana added 18 and Sadia Akter made 10.
Captain Fahima Khatun attempted to revive the chase with 14 runs, but the mounting required run rate and consistent wickets halted any hopes of a comeback. India A’s bowling attack was relentless. Prema Rawat was the standout performer, finishing with three wickets, while Sonia Mendhiya and Tanuja Kanwer claimed two wickets each. The remaining bowlers chipped in with a wicket apiece, ensuring Bangladesh A were kept well below the target.
With bat and ball working in unison, India A sealed a comprehensive 46-run victory, capping off a dominant campaign in the Rising Stars tournament. The win not only underlined the depth of talent in India’s women’s cricket pipeline but also showcased the team’s ability to handle pressure on the big stage.
