Sheetal Devi was born in 2007
in J&K with phocomelia and
started archery in 2022, inspired
by Matt Stutzman.
She won two golds at the
2022 Asian Para Games in
individual and mixed compound.
She took silver at the 2023 Worlds and two golds at the Asian Para Games, topping rankings.
She received the Arjuna Award in 2024 from President Murmu.
She won Paralympic bronze in
mixed team at Paris 2024,
aged 17.
She set a world record 703 in the Paris 2024 ranking round.
She claimed gold at the 2025 Gwangju Worlds, beating No.1
Oznur Cure.
She added team silver and mixed bronze at 2025 Worlds as first
Indian compound champ.
She became the first para-archer
in India's able-bodied team for
2025 Asia Cup.
She was named World Archery
Para Archer of the Year 2025.
