Vaishali Rameshbabu won Girls' World Youth titles under-12 in  2012 and under-14 in 2015.

She defeated future world  champion Magnus Carlsen at  age 12 in a 2013 simul in Chennai.

She earned Woman International Master (WIM) in 2016 and Woman Grandmaster (WGM) in 2018.

She helped India win gold at t he 2020 Online Olympiad, their  first team medal.

She received her International  Master (IM) title in 2021.

She won the 2022 Fischer  Memorial (7/9) for her second  GM norm and reached WSCC semifinals, beating Bibisara Assaubayeva.

She secured individual bronze on board 3 at the 2022 Chennai Olympiad, team bronze.

She gained her final GM norm at  2023 Qatar Masters (5/9, perf 2609)  and topped FIDE Women's Grand  Swiss (8.5/11) for  2024 Candidates spot.

She defended Grand Swiss title  in 2025 Samarkand (8/11),  qualifying for 2026 Candidates  as first sibling duo.

She won bronze at 2024 Women's World Blitz Championship and received Arjuna Award.
