Chasing a formidable 193, South Africa made the target look far less daunting than it appeared on paper. Wolvaardt’s breathtaking 115 set the tone for a near-flawless pursuit, as the hosts cruised to victory with nine wickets in hand and 21 balls to spare. The foundation of the chase was a commanding 183-run opening partnership between Wolvaardt and Sune Luus. While Wolvaardt took on the role of aggressor with her rapid stroke play, Luus provided stability with a composed 64 off 42 deliveries.
