The Hundred 2026 Auction is upcoming, and the list of all the registered players across the men’s and women’s sections has been released. A total of 8 women’s teams will take part in the auction, acquiring up to 14 players each. The women’s auction is set to take place on March 11. Names like Beth Mooney, Shafali Verma, Richa Ghosh, Deepti Sharma, Davina Perrin, Nadine de Klerk and Amy Jones are among the popular choices.

Auctioneer Richard Madley will be seen leading the proceedings for both the women’s and men’s auction. The women’s teams have a salary pot of £880,000. Meanwhile, men’s teams have a salary pot of £2.05m. However, each of these teams has invested some amount during the pre-Auction event that went into direct signings and retention.
In the Auction, all the teams will go through three phases, namely Hero Players, Ranked Players and Nominated Players. Each phase highlights the interesting parties for each player.
Ahead of the auction, each team has to submit a list of their interested players around 75-100 that they want to sign. After this, a list of collective names will be out, which will determine the final 200 players going in for the auction.
Australia Women’s cricketer Beth Mooney, expressing her excitement ahead of the auction, is looking to bring in her A-game with the team she ends up with.
She said, “From the players already pre-signed, there’s a lot of world-class names in The Hundred for this season, with plenty more to come during the auction. It’s always exciting to see what happens, who goes where and how teams build their lists, so hopefully I’ll get another chance to be part of what is a brilliant tournament again this summer.”
