India’s pace spearhead Arundhati Reddy has added a significant milestone to her growing career, being named the ICC Women’s Player of the Month for February 2026. The recognition comes on the back of her match-winning performances during India’s historic T20I series triumph on Australian soil.
Reddy played a pivotal role throughout the three-match series, consistently delivering breakthroughs at crucial moments and leading India’s bowling attack with authority. Her efforts not only disrupted Australia’s batting rhythm but also laid the foundation for a memorable 2-1 series victory, India’s first T20I series win in Australia since 2016.
The monthly honour marks the first time Reddy has received the ICC accolade, making it a special moment in her international journey. The 28-year-old emerged as the leading wicket-taker in the series, claiming eight wickets at an impressive average of 10.87 while maintaining a steady economy rate of 7.25. Her standout moment came in the opening match in Sydney, where she registered career-best figures of 4/22, a spell that earned her the Player of the Match award and set the tone for the series.
Reddy continued her consistent run in the following matches, picking up 2/30 in Canberra and 2/35 in the series decider in Adelaide, underlining her reliability across conditions.
Her contributions proved decisive in India’s landmark success, as the team showcased resilience and composure to outplay Australia in their own backyard.
