England will also miss out on their third forward Alex Matthews in Saturday’s game with Scotland after facing a shoulder issue during the 33-12 victory over Ireland. Previously, England had also announced that lock Morwenna Talling and scrum-half Natasha Hunt miss out from the remainder of the Six Nations tournament with leg injuries.

Meanwhile, Bristol Bears second row player Delaney Burns and Saracens prop Liz Crake have been called in to join John Mitchell’s squad as cover. The Red Roses are already missing three second row players Zoe Stratford, Abbie Ward and Rosie Galligan due to pregnancy.

The team are coming off a dominant win over Scotland on April 18. England defeated them by a score of 84-7. They are set to next face Wales in the upcoming game scheduled on Saturday, April 25.
