Manchester City Women’s Football Club, formerly known as Manchester City Ladies F.C., is an English women’s football club based in Manchester. The club is affiliated with Premier League team Manchester City. The club was formed in November 1988, at the idea of the Manchester City Community Officer Neil Mather — who would go on to become the first manager of the side.
