The Boxing Federation of India (BFI) has named a 12-member squad for the Grand Prix Usti nad Labem in Czechia from June 17 to 21. This event will be seen as a preparation for the fast-approaching 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

The Olympic Medalist, Lovlina Borgohain (75kg) and Preeti Pawar (54kg), the reigning Asian Championship gold medalist will lead the women’s squad. While, World No. 1 Jasmine Lamboria and Arundhati Choudhary will miss out on the event as they’re recovering from an injury.
The Usti nad Labem Grand Prix, one of Europe’s longest-running boxing events, has been part of the calendar for more than 50 years. The 2026 edition will be conducted as a European boxing Gold Tournament under World Boxing regulations. The competition will feature 10 women’s and 10 men’s categories.
The Boxing event at the Commonwealth Games will take place from July 24 to August 1, 2026 at the SECC centre in Glasgow.
