South Africa Women’s captain Laura Wolvaardt has taken the no. 1 spot in the ICC Women’s ODI Batting Rankings following back-to-back tons over Ireland. In the T20I rankings, she is currently placed in fifth position. Meanwhile, India Women’s spinner Deepti Sharma bags the top rank in the WT20I bowling rankings with a rating of 737 and is placed at no. 5 according to the ODI rank.

Wolvaardt, with a rating of 820, stays at the top of the ODI Batting Rankings of December 2025. The result, however, comes in respect to the skipper’s terrific batting form in the recently concluded Ireland Women’s series. In the three-match WT20Is, she scored 137 runs at a strike rate of 190.27. Her dominant run continued in the three innings played in WODIs, where she scored 255 runs, including two centuries, at a strike rate of 111.84.
Just nine points behind her is India’s opening batter, Smriti Mandhana, who has scored 5322 runs in 117 WODIs. Recently, she has become the first Indian batter to score 4000 runs in WT20Is and is placed at no. 3 in the ICC Women’s T20I rankings with a 766 rating.
Jemimah Rodrigues, who was recently handed Delhi Capitals’ captaincy ahead of Women’s Premier League 2026, is ranked 10th rank of the T20I rankings with a rating of 658. The power batter has scored 2470 runs in 114 WT20Is at a strike rate of 117.73.
Deepti Sharma is ICC No.1 Women’s T20I bowler
Reaching the charts for the first time, India Women’s spinner Deepti Sharma has taken the no. 1 spot in the Women’s T20I Bowling Rankings. In 130 WT20Is played, Deepti has picked up 148 wickets at an average of 18.99. In the ongoing T20I series against Sri Lanka, she bagged a wicket in a single match appearance.
Australia’s Annabel Sutherland is behind Deepti in the second rank with a 736 rating. In 45 WT20Is played, the all-rounder has picked 40 wickets at an average of 19.20. India’s Renuka Singh Thakur and Radha Yadav take the 14th and 15th rank respectively.
Meanwhile, in the WODI Rankings, Deepti is placed in no. 5. In 121 matches played so far, she has picked up 162 wickets. England’s Sophie Ecclestone has secured the top spot in the rankings. In 82 WODIs played, she has taken 141 wickets at an average of 19.16.
