Salma Paralluelo is set to leave FC Barcelona on June 30th, 2026 which will be the end of her contract. She will leave the club as a free agent after declining the club’s renewal offer.

According to anonymous sources, Barcelona were open to selling Paralluelo back in the summer transfer window of 2025 and the winter window in January. Apparently, this is the reason why she didn’t agree to accept a new contract.
Her upcoming departure from Barcelona means there are plenty of offers for her from Europe as well as the NWSL. The eight-time WSL champions, Chelsea are the one club that made an offer. However, according to sources she rejected it as Chelsea weren’t willing to meet the salary demands, which exceed £1 million per year. A club in the NWSL also refused to meet these demands.
The 22-year-old will be among the latest players to leave Barça due to their contracts expiring, joining Alexia Putellas, Ona Batlle, and Mapi Leon. She joined Barcelona from Villarreal in 2022, and since then has won four La Liga titles and three Champions League titles during her time at the club. She has also won the Copa de la Reina, and the Supercopa de España with them.
Paralluelo has scored 76 goals for them in 133 matches. Her latest heroics came against Lyon in May’s Champions League final, where they beat Lyon 4-0.
Salma has 51 international caps for Spain since her debut in 2022 and has been an integral part of the side that won the 2023 Women’s FIFA World Cup and reached the 2025 European Championship final. She finished in 3rd place in 2023 and 2024 at the Ballon d’Or Féminin.
