An anonymous email sent to Hockey India president Dilip Tirkey and Sports Authority of India official Kalpana Sharma has triggered a new controversy, prompting calls for an independent investigation.
According to reports, the email accuses a senior Hockey India official of repeated inappropriate behaviour towards female players, coaches, and support staff. The allegations include unwanted communication, inappropriate requests for photographs, and even threats to derail careers if advances were rejected.
