Haryana’s Ketan Malik edged past two-time Olympic medalist Manu Bhaker to win the gold medal at the 68th National Shooting Championships 2025 held at Dr Karni Singh Shooting Range in New Delhi.

On Thursday, December 18, 2025, Malik finished in the top spot with a score of 240.0 ahead of Delhi’s Meenu Pathak, who ended with silver at 238.4, while Surbhi Rao took the bronze with 219.5.
Mohini Singh took the fourth spot with 197.9, while Anjali Shekhawat finished in sixth with 157.5. Meanwhile, Bhaker finished in the seventh position with 137.2, and Anjali Choudhary followed next at 110.1.
Earlier in the qualification round, Bhaker finished in the top spot with 582-19x, while Ketan finished in third with 581-16x, and the lost continued with Mohini (580-19x), Anjali (579-22x), Surbhi (579-22x), Anjali (579-19x), and Meenu (579-14x) entering into the finals.
On the other hand, in the Junior Air Pistol Women’s event, Uttar Pradesh Vanshika Chaudhary gave a shot of 240.5 to bag the top spot by 0.2 ahead of Anjali Shekhawat to win the gold medal. Asian Games champion Palak Gulia ended in bronze with 218.0.
Payal Khatri finished fourth with 195.8, followed by Lakshita Bishnoi at 177.7. Malik also competed in the junior finals, where she finished sixth with 156.1, joined by Mohini Singh (131.8) in seventh and Rashmika Sahgal (117.2) in the eighth spot.
The Youth APW title was won by Lakshita from the Army Marksmanship Unit, who won by a narrow victory of 0.6 over Rashmika, and Sanskriti Bana finishing in the third position with 218.5. The list then continued with Suruchi Singh in fourth with 197.9, Priyanshi Purva at fifth with 177.6, followed by Aaradhya Mishra (156.5), Janvi Vidhyadhar Manatkar (135.2), and Sneha (110.5).
Team event winners
The Senior APW team event title was won by Haryana, led by Palak, Suruchi, and Rhythm Sangwan, finishing with a total score of 1735. Delhi finished in second position with 1725-48x scored by Meenu, Rashmika, and Parisha Gupta. The third spot was claimed by the Army Marksmanship Unit, with Lakshita, Himanshi, and Sejal Raju Kamble finishing with a score of 1723-57x.
Haryana also bagged the Junior Women’s Team event, with Palak, Suruchi, and Muskan finishing with a score of 1734-61x. The Army Marksmanship Unit this time finished second with 1723-57x, while Rajasthan bagged the bronze with Mohini Singh, Anjali, and Shikha Chaudhary making a total score of 1719-45x.
Meanwhile, the Youth (Sub-Junior) Women’s Team event was won by Delhi (1715-42x), followed by Haryana at 1712-44x, and Rajasthan in the third spot with a score of 1712-42x.
