Coco Gauff Tops Forbes’ 2025 Highest-Paid Female Athletes List for Second Straight Year

Women’s Tennis Association players have released the list of the highest-paid female athletes of 2025. Out of 20, 10 are female players. Coco Gauff takes the No. 1 spot on Forbes’ annual list for the second straight year. She has made a total sum of $33 million earned through tournament prize money as well as sponsorship deals.

Meanwhile, the world No. 1 women’s singles Aryna Sabalenka is next in the list with $30 million, followed by Iga Swiatek in the third rank with $25.1 million. Other additions in the top 10 list include Zheng Qinwen ($22.6 million), Madison Keys ($13.4 million), Naomi Osaka ($12.5 million), Elena Rybakina ($12.5 million) and Jessica Pegula ($12.3 million).

No. 12 in the list is Amanda Anisimova, who finished as runner-up in two Grand Slam finals of 2025 with $11.3 million. Jasmine Paolini, with $8.3 million, ended at No. 17 on the Forbes list.

Following the announcement, Forbes went on to credit Gauff for having such an impressive career with several achievements and recognition gained.

The Instagram post read, “She is similarly a force off the court, where Gauff has a robust portfolio of sponsors including New Balance, Baker Tilly and recent addition Mercedes-Benz and hauls in an estimated $25 million annually.”

Grauff’s impressive career has earned her sponsorships with brands like New Balance, Baker Tilly and recently with Mercedes-Benz.

“That figure, along with her roughly $8 million in 2025 prize money, lands her at the top of Forbes’ list of the world’s highest-paid female athletes for the second straight year with total income of $33 million before taxes and agent fees—one of the best marks in the 18 years that Forbes has published a women’s earnings ranking,” the post also mentioned.

At the age of 19, Gauff won her first Grand Slam title, following which she earned multiple lucrative sponsorships and endorsement deals to her name. She went on to win the 2023 US Open and 2025 French Open titles. Won her first Grand Slam doubles title alongside Katerina Siniaková at 2024 Roland Garros.

At the Paris 2024 Games, she made her Olympic debut and was the youngest athlete to represent the US. She went on to win her second WTA 1000 title at the age of 15 in the China Open, becoming the youngest champion. She also set a record for the most WTA 1000 wins before turning 21.

Since then, Gauff has grown to become one of the established players in women’s tennis with the best sponsorship deals.
