Roland Garros has a new champion to its name and the 19-year-old became the youngest player to win since 1992.
Mirra Andreeva became the youngest player to win the French Open, since Monica Seles made a hat-trick of titles in 1992, aged 18.

Andreeva defeated Maja Chwalinska 6-3 and 6-2, to take the title home.
Mirra overcame a rocky start in the final and asserted her authority, as Chwalinska struggled to keep up with the biggest stage.
Maja, ranked 114 despite being supported by hundreds of Polish fans and winning 9 straight matches, failed to capitalise on her position.
She also became only the second player after Emma Raducanu to reach a Grand Slam title after coming through a qualifier.
The opening set was a nervous affair for both players. Throughout it, both of them continued making errors.
But at 3-3, Andreeva took control. She broke Chwalinska’s streak and won the set 6-3.
In the second set, the Russian teenager dominated. Chwalinska’s signature shots backfired, and Andreeva won the set 6-2 without breaking a sweat.
It was a treat for the tennis world, as the surprise finalist, and the youngster battled it out. But it turned out that Mirra Andreeva was too good for Maja Chwalinska, as she took the trophy home, scripting history.
