The 2026 Commonwealth Games artistic gymnastics events will take place at the Glasgow International Arena from 24th July to 28th July 2026.

So far in the Commonwealth Games, India has won only three medals in Gymnastics. The medal tally consists of 1 silver and two bronze medals.
Ashish Kumar (2010 New Delhi ) – Won 1 silver in the men’s vault and 1 bronze in the men’s floor exercise, marking India’s first-ever gymnastics medals at the Games.
Dipa Karmakar (2014 Glasgow) – Won 1 bronze medal in the women’s vault
Indian Athletes participating in the 2026 Artistic Gymnastics at the Commonwealth Games:

Realistically, India has modest prospects at this edition of the Games in Gymnastics. The sport has not been India’s dominant discipline historically, but the team does have experienced leaders and emerging talent.
India’s best hopes are with the veteran Pranati Nayak, who’s competing in her 4th Commonwealth Games. She recently won a silver medal at the FIG World Cup in Tashkent earlier this year.
Rising star Protistha Samanta is in the women’s event, and national champion Tapan Mohanty in the men’s group add depth to India’s squad.
In the men’s team, veteran Yogeshwar Singh leads the men’s squad in his third consecutive CWG, bringing valuable tournament experience to the team.
While India is unlikely to dominate gymnastics, a strong performance from Pranati Nayak on the Vault could give India a chance at winning a medal.
