This year, the WNBA saw its highest-ever attendance of over 3 million, with an average of 11,000 fans per game. In broadcast media, WNBA is the most-watched game on ESPN for both its regular and postseason matches. The regular-season matches averaged over 1.3 million viewers, and the finals reached the 1.5 million mark.
Forbes has recently released the list of the top five WNBA teams with the highest social rankings of this season.
Indiana Fever
The team has made it to the top rank, all because of one name, ‘Caitlin Clark’. The two-time All-Star carries dominance whenever she is on the court, which has contributed to the popularity of the team all over social media, with a value worth $55.04 million. Whenever it’s WNBA, it’s Indiana Fever’s star Clark. This season, she won the WNBA Player ESPY Award.
Dallas Wings
With a social value of $8.61 million, the Dallas Wings are next in the list. The addition of their No. 1 pick, Paige Bueckers also the 2025 Rookie of the Year, has created a fanbase and popularity on social media.
