On November 21, 2025, the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026 auction list was announced. The auction is scheduled to take place in New Delhi on 27th November at 3:30 PM that starts with eight players that includes India’s Deepti Sharma and Renuka Singh, New Zealand’s Sophie Devine and Amelia Kerr, Australia’s Alyssa Healy and Meg Lanning (Australia), England’s Sophie Ecclestone and South Africa’s Laura Wolvaardt.

A total of 277 registered players will be eying for 73 available slots. 194 of them are Indians including 52 capped and 142 uncapped players available for 50 slots. Meanwhile there are 66 overseas capped and 17 uncapped players will fill the remaining 23.

Besides this, around 19 players have been registered under the highest base-price of ₹50 lakh, 11 players under the ₹40 lakh price, and around 88 players in the ₹30 lakh price.

Some notable Indian players from domestic cricket in the auction

Kiran Navgire (Batter)

The Maharashtrian power hitter has been impressive in domestic cricket. In the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy she batted at a strike rate of 235.35 and 177.53 in the Senior Women’s Inter-Zonal T20 tournament. She also broke the record by scoring the fastest T20 century in 34 balls defeating Sophie Devine’s 36-ball record.

Vrinda Dinesh (Batter)

The Karnataka-based batter scored 84 runs in seven matches. In the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy, she was the third-highest run-getter with 316 runs with a high score of 118.

Vaishnavi Sharma (Bowler)

She was part of the Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup winning Indian squad. The left-arm spinner finished with the joint-most wickets of 12 in the Inter-Zonal T20 Trophy.

Nazma Khan (Bowler)

The off-break bowler finished as the highest wicket-taker with 12 scalps in the T20 Inter-Zonal tournament.

Anuja Patil (Bowler)

She led Maharashtra as the captain to the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy title victory after taking 17 wickets. She also took 11 scalps in the Inter-Zonal T20 Trophy for the West Zone.

Humaira Kaazi (Batter)

The Mumbai-based player showcased brilliance at the Senior Women’s Trophy. In the tournament she finished as the second-highest run-scorer with 320 runs including 50 boundaries and five sixes.
