England women’s cricket team star Danni Wyatt-Hodge and football agent Georgie Wyatt-Hodge have announced the news of their pregnancy in a heartfelt post on Instagram.
The post read, “Our little Wyatt-Hodge is on the way! 😍 See you soon baby girl, we cannot wait to meet you ❤️ Our hearts are so full ❤️”

The couple have been living together since 2019 followed by which four years later they got engaged in South Africa in March. They tied the knot last year on June 10 and hosted an extended celebration in France.
Wyatt’s England teammates Sophie Ecclestone and Lauren Filer congratulated the couple, wishing them on the news.
Sophie’s comment read, “How amazing is this ❤️❤️ congratulations to you both!! Xx”
Lauren wrote, “The absolute best news 🥹 Can’t wait to meet her❤️❤️”
Besides England, other cricket teams also wrote congratulatory messages to the couple. South African cricketer Chloe Tryon wrote, “Congratulations 🙌❤️ I’m so happy for the both of you ❤️”
Hong Kong women’s cricketer Marina Lamplough wrote, “I CAN’T WAIT TO BE AN AUNTIE.”
Meanwhile, Australian cricketer Nicola Hancock also shared a heartfelt message to the couple. The message read, “Crying over here 🥲🥹 congratulations xx.”
Who is Danni Wyatt-Hodge?
The batter is currently participating in the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) 2025, representing the Hobart Hurricanes team. The team is currently at the top of the points table with 14 points and a net run rate of 0.662. In the nine matches played so far, the team has won seven and lost two.
Meanwhile, leading the Hurricanes at the top, Danni is currently the top scorer of the tournament with 416 runs at a strike rate of 145.96. She has scored four half-centuries, including 9 sixes and 49 boundaries. In the team’s first match against Sydney Thunder Women, she scored a high score of 90 runs in 52 balls.
Wyatt made her ODI and T20I debut for the England team back in March 2010 which was scheduled against India. A year later, in 2011, she was named in the top order and was the opening batter for the team, including the 2013 World Cup.
In 120 WODIs, she scored 2074 runs at a strike rate of 88.78. Meanwhile, in 178 WT20Is, she has scored 3335 runs at a strike rate of 129.21. Last season, she was England’s leading run-scorer.
