A 24-member probation squad of India’s U20 women’s football team arrived in Thailand on Friday morning, March 20, for the 2026 Asian Cup pre-tournament camp. The Young Tigresses have 13 days to adjust with themselves accustomed with the environment before they start their campaign with the first Group match.

The Young Tigresses have qualified for the Asian Cup after 20 years and will start their campaign with the first Group C match against Japan scheduled on April 2. The fixture then followed with their match against Australia on April 5 and then Chinese Taipei on April 8.
The AFC U20 Women’s Asian Cup Thailand 2026 will be streamed live on the FanCode app. The top two teams from the group and two best third-placed teams from all the three groups enter the quarter-finals. The four quarter-finalists will then qualify for the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup Poland 2026.
After the conclusion of IWL, India had started their preparation from a training camp in Bengaluru in January under Swedish head coach Joakim Alexandersson. Their preparation followed with a one-month camp in Sweden where they played five-friendlies against Swedish club senior teams.
Before coming to Thailand, the Young Tigresses had their training in Kolkata. The final squad will be announced ahead of the tournament.
