Logroño United is a Spanish women’s football club, based in Logroño. The club’s roots go back to 2000, when a project to integrate schools and educational centres in Logroño began. After this, the club officially came into existence in 2008, when teams of all ages, including the senior women’s team, were founded.

On June 3rd 2018, the club gained promotion to Primera División after defeating CD TACÓN in the promotion playoffs. They made their debut in the 2018-19 season and finished 11th in the table, successfully avoiding relegation.
In 2020, Logroño qualified for their first major trophy, the Copa de la Reina final in the 2019-20 season; however, they lost to Barcelona 3-0.
In 2021, Logroño was bought by DUX Gaming (footballers Thibaut Courtois, Borja Iglesias, and YouTuber DjMariio are the partners), and it was renamed DUX Logroño.
In May 2025, DUX Logroño won the promotion playoffs to make their way back to Liga F for the 2025-26 season.
DUX still maintains its partnership with the club; however, earlier this year, in July, the club rebranded itself to foster a sense of unity, belonging, and a connection with the city. The club’s name was rebranded to ‘Logroño United’, with a new crest, colours, and motto. The announcement was made at the Casa de los Periodistas in Logroño, during an event which was attended by Sporting Director Marcelo Raya, Brand Architect Marcos Moreno, and team captain Isina Cortés.
Sporting Director Marcelo Raya talked about the club’s newfound maturity, having survived in the Liga F last season, and now aiming to become one of the elite clubs. The captain, Isina Cortés, emphasised the commitment to the team’s growth, including improvements to facilities, development of the sporting structure, squad building, and player welfare.
Logroño’s crest connects it to the history of the present team, its design inspired by the city’s history and symbols.
The central element on the crest is the Cross of Saint Andrew, present on Logroño’s historical flag during the 16th century. Alongside the cross appears the fourth bridge of Logroño, a symbol of the La Isla area and the Riojan club’s training ground, representing the union between the city’s history and the club’s future. The new design is accompanied by the colours red, burgundy, gold, and a new motto: ‘History drives us’, which will accompany the team throughout the current season.
The club plays their home games at the Las Gaunas stadium.
The club’s nickname is La Vinotinto (The Red Wine).
