The 2027 AFC U-17 Women’s Asian Cup will be held in China from 31 March–17 April 2027. A total of 12 teams will be competing in the competition.
This will be the 11th edition of the AFC U-17 Women’s Asian Cup. It’s the annual international youth football championship organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) for the women’s under-17 national teams of Asia.
The Indian U-17 women’s team will continue their preparation for the AFC U-17 Women’s Asian Cup 2027 Qualifiers with two friendly matches against the Philippines in Goa on September 26 and 29, 2026. The venues for both matches are yet to be confirmed.
These matches will be the second time India and the Philippines will compete at this age level.
Under coach Joakim Alexandersson, India is currently in Tashkent for two friendlies against Uzbekistan. The first one took place on Thursday, while the second one will take place on Sunday.
The game against the Philippines will be the last friendly match before the team travels to Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, for the AFC U17 Women’s Asian Cup China 2027 Qualifiers, which will be held from October 5 to 11.
India’s first match will be against Iraq on October 5, before facing Syria on October 8 and hosting Malaysia on October 11.
