On Saturday, December 13, 2025, 2024 Paris Olympian Raiza Dhillon delivered a wonderful performance in the shooting events of the 68th National Shooting Championships held at the Karni Singh Shooting Range in Tughlaqabad, New Delhi. She ended her campaign with two gold medals in the senior and junior women’s skeet events.

The 21-year-old scored 56 shots in the women’s final, defeating Yashasvi Rathore, who ended with silver with total shots of 55. Olympian Ganemat Shekhon finished in third place to win bronze with 45 shots. Meanwhile, the fourth, fifth, and sixth was secured by Darshna Rathore (36 shots), Risham Kaur Guron (27 shots), and Vanshika Tiwari (18 shots), respectively.
Raiza’s dominant run continued in the Junior Women’s Skeet final event. She made 55 shots, finishing ahead of Vanshika Tiwari, who made 54 and secured a silver medal. The third position was filled by Mansi Raghuwanshi, who scored 45 shots. Yashasvi took the fourth spot with 34 hits, followed by Risham with 22 and Sanyogita Shekhawat with 14 hits.
Previously, in the qualification round, Yashasvi took the top spot with 118 hits, while Raiza were tied with Ganemat with 116 shots each. Meanwhile, Darshna finished fourth with 115, while Risham and Vanshika were tied at 114 shots each.
Senior Women’s Skeet Team Results
In the Senior Women’s Skeet Team event, Rajasthan won the gold medal. The team comprised players like Yashasvi, Darshna, and Maheshwari, and their scores gave a combined total of 343 hits to reach the top of the rankings.
Vanshika, Mansi, and Oshmi Shrivas, as part of Madhya Pradesh, finished second with a total score of 328 and won the silver medal. Meanwhile, Punjab ended with a bronze medal after finishing with 325 total hits from Ganemat, Parinaaz Dhaliwal, and Asees Chhina.
Junior Women’s Skeet Team Results
The junior women’s team event saw a change. The winners of the event were the Madhya Pradesh team of Vanshika, Mansi, and Oshmi with a total of 328 hits. Meanwhile, the Rajasthan team of Yashasvi, Sanyogita, and Kamna Udawat ended with silver from 326 hits in total. Punjab, this time again, finished in the third position and ended their campaign with another bronze medal with 314 hits in total from players Risham, Parmeet Kaur, and Sifat Chhina.
According to a press release from the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI), the 68th edition of the National Shooting Championship in 2025 will continue with women’s and junior women’s 25m sports pistol finals event. India’s top shooters will be seen in action and aim to win the title.
