After the four day trials concluded on Monday, held at the Indian Squash Triathlon Academy (ISTA), the Squash Rackets Federation of India (SRFI) announced the women’s and men’s squad for the 2026 Asian game.

Anahat Singh and Tanvi Khanna will feature in singles in women’s. Veer Chotrani and Abhay Singh will feature in men’s singles at the Games.
Two pairs will feature in the mixed doubles: Senthilkumar and Joshna Chinappa, and Shameena Riaz and Suraj Chand. Shameena qualified as the fourth player for the women’s team, on Monday, after Akanksha Salunke retired midway in the first game due to a knee Injury in the play-off.
There will be a training camp from August 1 to 8th at the ISTA. Where the SRFI is looking to get three foreign players ranked inside top 35 so the Indian player can get their practice in.
SRFI is also searching for a foreign coach who will accompany and assist the team’s head coach Harinderpal Singh Sandhu. The new coach will fly to Japan with Mr. Singh and the team.
Squash will be played at the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya from September 23rd to October 3, 2026. The matches will be held at the Nagoya Kinjo-Futo Arena.
