Newly crowned Women’s World champion Stephanie Vaquer and Women’s champion Tiffany Stratton battled for the seventh season of the WWE Women’s Crown Jewel Championship at the RAC Arena. It was a short contest between the power women at Perth, with Vaquer taking the victory and being crowned the 2025 Crown Jewel Champion.
The event had a star-studded list, with the highlight match showcasing the final meeting between legends John Cena and AJ Styles.
This match was going for an A rating but ended in a straight grade B after what was expected to be a thriller turned out to be a 10-minute match. Both the titleholders were holding onto their reputation entering the match, but for one it wasn’t very fruitful.
Vaquer beat Stratton in 10:05, entering into the match to take the win. There were many scary moments for Stratton to face, but she remained strong until the end. The strong point was her Dragon Screw attempt that got Stratton a knee injury during the match.
The match started with Stratton coming off and showing her skills by performing a cartwheel and then transitioning to the Alabama Slam, but her miscalculation lost her the chance to win against Vaquer. Stratton, however, looked weak throughout the match.
The slowdown started after Stratton missed out on a Prettiest Moonsault Ever and got hit by Vaquer’s corkscrew moonsault. The match didn’t have any drama or live up to the expectations of what a battle between two champions should be, which has been seen before in “Raw” and “SmackDown.”
Women’s tag team match: Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky vs. Asuka and Kairi Sane
After a disappointing battle between the two champions, this one, however, keeps fans engaged as four top competitors compete in a team match that includes Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky in one team going against the team of Asuka and Kairi Sane.
After the final meeting of the legends match, this women’s tag team match continued to draw the audience’s attention. The match started with Asuka and Sane cornering Sky, but then Ripley entered. She hit Sane with a Riptide followed by Sky’s Over the Moonsault to finish the match. Sane sacrificed herself for Asuka, but it cost her the match. Asuka was the lone warrior, but it was Ripley and Sky who took the win at the end.
