Chadwick is a British racer who has participated with her Jaguar I‑TYPE 7 car in the 2024-25 season events like the Women’s Test inaugural season in Madrid, Jeddah’s Rookie Free Practice session, and the Rookie Test in Berlin. Chadwick made her debut for the Jaguar TCS Racing back in 2020 at the Marrakesh Rookie Test.

Following the announcement, Jaguar TCS Racing Team Principal Ian James gave a statement on the women racers’ participation.

James stated, “We’re delighted to welcome Jamie and Juju to the team for the Women’s Test. This initiative continues to play a vital role in creating meaningful opportunities for female talent in motorsport, and both drivers bring exceptional skill, experience, and ambition to the team.”

A look into Jamie Chadwick’s career

With a 14-year career, Chadwick’s resume is quite impressive. In 2017, she made her debut in single-seaters at the BRDC British Formula 3 Championship and went on to become an undefeated triple champion with 11 career victories.

Later in 2022, she then joined as a test driver for Andretti Autosport in Indy NXT and got signed for the 2023-2024 season. With that she became the first woman in 14 years to win an Indy NXT race and was seventh overall in the championship. Expressing her happiness on her return to Jaguar, Chadwick said, “It’s fantastic to be returning to Jaguar TCS Racing for the Women’s Test in Valencia. Having already driven the I-TYPE 7 last season, I’m excited to build on that experience and continue working with the team. Driving in Formula E presents a unique challenge, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to be part of it.”

A look into Juju Noda’s career

Alongside Jamie in Jaguar TCS Racing is Super Formula driver Juju Noda. The Japanese racer was three years old when she started karting, and by the age of nine, she started testing single-seater race cars on the circuits. In 2019 she then made her professional debut in the Lucas Oil Winter Race Series. The next year, she performed a brilliant show in the F4 Danish Championship, where she won her first race and finished sixth overall. Her participation extends to tournaments like the W Series and Euroformula Open.

In 2024, Juju made history as the first Japanese female racer to participate in the Super Formula, a premier single-seater championship held in Japan for the TGM Grand Prix.

Excited about her participation for Jaguar, Noda said, “I’m really looking forward to joining Jaguar TCS Racing for the Formula E Women’s Test. Driving the GEN3 Evo car will be a new experience for me, and I’m excited to learn from the team and push myself in this environment. It’s an honour to contribute to an initiative that supports women in motorsport and helps open doors for talented drivers.”
