Norris, the left-arm medium pacer who was part of the UP Warriorz, won’t be available for WPL 2026 due to her selection in the USA national team for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier scheduled in Nepal from January 18 to February 1. Replacing her will be uncapped Australian all-rounder Knott. She was signed by Warriorz at a reserve price of INR 10 lakh.

Meanwhile, Australian all-rounders Ellyse Perry of Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Annabel Sutherland of the Delhi Capitals have decided to withdraw from the WPL 2026, citing personal reasons. Replacing Perry, RCB has named Sayali Satghare, who was acquired at a reserve price of INR 30 lakh.

For Sutherland, DC has named Australian leg-spinner Alana King as a replacement. Alana has played for the UP Warriorz in the 2025 season and featured in 27 T20Is and taking 27 wickets. Alana has joined DC at a reserve price of INR 60 lakh.

The WPL 2026 will begin on January 9 and will continue until February 5. This is the fourth edition of the tournament, which will be played across both Navi Mumbai and Vadodara. Defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will play the opening fixture in Navi Mumbai.
