Indian shuttlers finished their campaign at the Badminton World Federation (BWF) World Tour with two dominant wins at the Odisha Masters Super 100 held in Bhubaneswar. On Sunday, December 14, 2025, teenage sensation Unnati Hooda won the women’s singles while Kiran George bagged the men’s title.

Unnati’s win and qualification in the finals were the first of the 2025 season. At the Syed Modi International and Hylo Open in Germany, she only reached the semi-finals. With this victory, she is aiming to continue this momentum, performing in major tournaments of the 2026 season.
Earlier, top seed Unnati defeated Thailand’s Tidapron Kleebyeesun by sets of 21-7, 21-14 in a 25-minute game to secure her place in the quarter-finals of the women’s singles event. In the semi-finals, Unnati faced dominance from Tasnim Mir, who took the lead in the first round at 21-18. However, Unnati stood up and won the game with straight wins in the next two rounds by 21-16, 21-16.
