Australia Women have won the three-match ODI series by defeating India in their third and final ODI match on Sunday, March 1, 2026, by 185 runs. India Women toured Australia for three ODIs and T20Is each. While they won the T20I series by 2-1, it was the Australians who swept the ODI series by 3-0. It was, however, an emotional goodbye for Australia Women’s skipper Alyssa Healy who played the final ODI match of her career, and was named Player of the match for scoring 158 runs.

The Australia Women batters’ major scoring came from the top-order batters including skipper Healy, Georgia Voll and Beth Mooney. Healy was able to finish her ODI career with a century (158 runs off 98 balls). Phoebe Litchfield was, however, restricted to 14 runs giving Australia Women their first loss of the innings.
Voll took the momentum coming in next and scored 62 runs off 52 balls. Beth Mooney was another centurion of the team who scored 106* off 84 balls. Both the batters made a massive partnership with Healy who ended her innings at 158 runs off 98 balls at a strike rate of 161.22. Meanwhile, Annabel Sutherland (23 off 20) and Nicola Carey (34 runs* off 15 balls) were the other decent contributors in the match.
India Women bowlers managed to get seven wickets out as Shree Charani and Sneh Rana added two each, while Renuka Singh, Kashvee Gautam, and Deepti Sharma got one each.
However, for the Indians, the target of 401 was a bit of a struggle. Opening the innings, Pratika Rawal added 27 runs off 21 but the team lost their other opener and ace batter Smriti Mandhana (0 off 4) in the second over. Jemimah Rodrigues managed to secure a decent run with 42 runs off 29 balls, while skipper Harmanpreet Kaur added 25 runs in 33 balls. The other decent runs came from Deepti (29 off 47), Richa Ghosh (18 off 20), and Rana (44 off 74).
Australia Women’s bowling brilliance was seen from Alana King who picked up four wickets of India Women’s middle-order batting line-up. Healy’s final ODI run as a captain too ended with the team’s successful win over India who went 224 all-out in the target chase.
