Salma Paralluelo Leaves Barcelona After Trophy-Laden Four-Year Spell

Salma Paralluelo has officially left Barcelona after her contract ended on Tuesday, June 30th. She has been an integral part of the team’s success.

FC Barcelona confirmed her exit through an official statement released through midday on Tuesday in Catalonia.

“Salma Paralluelo has decided to leave FC Barcelona at the end of her contract, on June 30, 2026,” the correspondence began.

“Therefore, the Aragonese leaves the Club after four seasons as a Barça player, over which she has added a total of 15 titles: three Champions Leagues, four La Ligas, three Queen’s Cups, four Super Cups and one Catalan Cup,” it added.

The club noted her impressive tally of 72 goals in 131 games.

“FC Barcelona would like to thank Salma Paralluelo for her commitment, dedication and contribution during these four seasons wearing the Barça shirt. The Club wishes her the best of luck in this new stage,” the statement finished, after mentioning her exploits in Oslo.

Paralluelo scored twice in the Champions League final against Lyon in May as they won the title for the fourth time in six years.

During her four seasons with the club, the 22-year-old won 4 La Liga titles, 3 Copa de la Reina crowns, 4 Spanish Super Cups, 1 Copa Catalunya, and 3 UEFA Women’s Champions League titles.

At the international level, Paralluelo is the first ever player to have won all three World Cups across the U-17, U-20, and senior levels with Spain.

Arsenal, London City Lionesses, Paris Saint-Germain, and OL themselves are interested in her services. She’s due a big payout considering her success. Chelsea have already reportedly exited the bidding due to her financial demands.
