After a devastating loss against Germany by 0-13 in the second Group C pool match, India needed redemption, and they did it with their strong comeback in the third and final pool match. The win against Ireland has now placed India at the top of the pool. But their fate now rests on what the total results are. Winners from each of the four pools and two runner-up teams will only advance to the quarterfinals. India will have to wait and see how the other teams’ matches end up.
