UP Dominators set the tone early and never looked back as they dismantled Tiigers of Mumbai Dangals in a one-sided contest. Leading from the front, captain and two-time U20 World Champion Antim Panghal delivered a decisive technical superiority win in the women’s 53kg category, effectively sealing the match for UP.

Heavyweight Jaspooran Singh laid the platform in the opening bout, controlling proceedings against Oleksandr Khotsianivskyi in the 125kg category to register a narrow but crucial 3-1 victory. His composed outing earned him the Player of the Match award.

UP consolidated their early advantage through a series of disciplined performances. Mansi Lather edged Jyoti Berwal 2-1 in the women’s 76kg bout, before Abhimanyu Mandwal produced a flawless 4-0 shutout in the 74kg men’s category. Vishal Kali Raman then held his nerve in a tight 65kg contest, scraping through 3-2 to push UP into a commanding 4-0 lead.

Tiigers finally found a spark through skipper Aman Sehrawat, who dominated Sagar Sharma by technical superiority to register Mumbai’s first point. However, any hopes of a comeback were extinguished swiftly as Antim Panghal took complete control of her bout, accelerating sharply in the second period to secure victory and clinch the tie for UP.

In Match 5, Haryana Thunders continued their unbeaten run with a dominant 6-3 victory over Delhi Dangal Warriors, powered by a record-breaking display from Olympic champion Yui Susaki. The Japanese star produced the fastest technical superiority win in PWL history, overwhelming Saarika 16-0 in just 57 seconds in the women’s 53kg bout.

Haryana began strongly through Kajal Dhochhak, who edged Anastasiya Alpyeeva 6-5 in a high-intensity 76kg contest. Ankush Chandram then extended the lead with a commanding 13-3 win over Shubham Kaushik in the men’s 57kg category.

Haryana continued to dominate thereafter, with Anirudh Gulia claiming a comprehensive 13-0 win in the heavyweight category and Neha Sangwan securing technical superiority against Karla Gonzalez to guarantee full match points.

Delhi responded through captain Sujeet Kalkal, who edged Tumur Ochir Tulga 2-1 in a tactical 65kg bout, and later through Turan Bayramov’s authoritative 8-1 victory in the 74kg category. However, Iryna Koliadenko’s emphatic 13-0 win over Anjli restored Haryana’s control before the final bout was awarded to Delhi following a forfeit.
