The 17-year-old, ranked World No. 31 and seeded seventh, defeated American Sabrina Sobhy 11-9, 11-3, 9-11, 11-5 to secure her place in the title clash. The win marked another significant milestone in Anahat’s rapid rise on the professional tour.

Earlier in the tournament, Anahat produced one of her most resilient performances to reach the semifinals, fighting back from two games down to stun second seed Sana Ibrahim of Egypt in the quarterfinal. She overturned early deficits to complete a five-game comeback, winning 8-11, 8-11, 11-7, 11-8, 11-7 against the World No. 17.

Showcasing composure under pressure, Anahat controlled the decisive moments in the match, closing out the contest after reeling off five straight points in the fifth game. The performance drew loud support from the crowd and underlined her growing confidence on the PSA Tour.

Anahat has already enjoyed a strong season, highlighted by a semifinal appearance at the Silver-level Canadian Women’s Open in October, a run that helped her break into the world’s top 30.

She will now face top seed and World No. 10 Georgina Kennedy of England in the final, with the teenager just one win away from claiming the biggest title of her career to date.
